When Corado first arrived at Wet Nose, we saw a gentle spark in his eyes – the kind that only needed love, patience, and a place to belong where he could truly shine.

Today, he’s full of confidence and joy.

His new mom, Beth Mackenzie, shared this beautiful update with us...

He’s really blossomed into the most eager, willing little horse! As he’s a young horse, only four, we’ve focused on his groundwork, which is coming along beautifully. He’s fully target-trained, has started trotting poles, he can “back up” and “park” on command, and has begun his lunging work to prepare for his ridden work. He’s taking everything in his stride and is doing so well. His willingness to learn and his joy surrounding work has made me a better horseman.

Corado has made lots of friends, too – his best buddies are Dumpling and Apache! He trots up to me in the paddock, follows me around, always keen to join in with whatever we’re doing. From the moment I laid eyes on him, I knew he was my horse; his gentle nature came through right away. He’s the most trusting and loving horse I have ever met, always looking to me for comfort and reassurance in scary situations. He’s such a joy to work with and, of course, gets plenty of apples and cuddles!

His personality has truly shone through, and he’s given me so much more than I could have ever dreamed of. I’ve been riding horses for around 12 years and never met another like him; he truly is a one-in-a-million horse that I’m lucky to call my own. None of this would’ve been possible without Wetnose, my family, and my friend Cass who loves him so very much. He’s literally a dream come true.”

We couldn’t be happier to see Corado thriving. Every photo of him tells a story of trust regained and dreams fulfilled.
