We first welcomed Nacho into our lives in July 2025, and from the very beginning we couldn’t have been more grateful.
He arrived with the personality of a rock star – bold, curious, and endlessly entertaining. Whether he’s heading out on his daily “walks” or scaling trees like a pro, Nacho does everything with confidence. He’s also a world-class escape artist, always keeping us on our toes.
It’s hard to believe that this little character was once found on the side of a highway. Now, he rules our home, and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
As the months went by, we spoiled him with every toy imaginable, yet nothing seemed to truly capture his attention. That’s when we realised: what Nacho really needed wasn’t another toy; it was a friend.
At the end of December 2025, Cashew entered our lives. From the moment he arrived, he proved to be the sweetest little soul. We took care to introduce him to Nacho slowly, not knowing what to expect, but by day three they were already exploring the apartment side by side.
Since then, they’ve been inseparable.
From racing around the apartment to curling up together for cuddles and grooming sessions, these two boys adore each other. They share a love for their outdoor walks and are constantly entertaining one another, and us.
Together, Nacho and Cashew, both adopted from Capetonians Against Animal Abuse, have turned our home into something even more special. What started as one rescue story became a story of companionship, joy, and a bond we get to witness every single day.
